Sanford Process’s proprietary SANFORD HARDLUBE™ treatment utilizes a unique PTFE material to improve release properties, reduce the coefficient of friction, and enhance the corrosion resistance of anodic coatings. The water-based treatment is applied after anodizing and sealing, with the PTFE remaining impregnated on the part due to mechanical and electrostatic forces.
SANFORD HARDLUBE™ is ideal for applications requiring quick release, such as molds, or additional chemical and corrosion resistance.
This treatment does not affect the coloring of anodized coatings, and can be used with all types of coating seals. HARDLUBE™ can be applied to both sealed and unsealed anodic coatings.
